About Me
Raymond A. Bradni, Ph.D., licensed Clinical Health Psychologist in Virginia and all PSYPACT states.
I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University, with an emphasis in Health Psychology, and obtained post-graduate training at the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center and Psychoanalytic Studies Program at the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis. I am a full-time faculty member at George Mason University and serve as the Stepped Mental Health Care Director at GMU Center for Community Mental Health and Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology.
I completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship in Health Service Psychology and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh and worked in outpatient community clinics, multiple university counseling centers, and private practice, providing individual, group, and couple’s therapy and outreach consultation, training, and supervision of psychology trainees. Since 2020, I have begun the methodological observation of children, adolescents, and adult patients I have treated for different mind-body (psychosomatic) and mood disorders, leading to developing my specialized insight-oriented approach to Health psychology called Analytical Health Psychotherapy (AHP).
Approach to Treatment:
I employ an integrative approach, drawing from Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Therapies, Clinical Hypnosis, Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

With this as his foundation, Dr. Bradni is able to utilize an integrative approach to treatment that draws from to successfully work with individuals and couples in short-term, solution-focused treatment as well as more long-term psychotherapy.
